Root Cause Review

A comprehensive evaluation designed to organize your symptoms, history, and labs into a clear, personalized roadmap — without committing to ongoing care.

Root Cause Review is a deep-dive evaluation for patients who want to understand what's driving their symptoms and what to do next.

This service focuses on clinical thinking, pattern recognition, and prioritization. It provides clarity and direction — not ongoing treatment or long-term management.

What's Included

Root Cause Review includes:

  • Comprehensive intake review, including symptoms, timeline, medical history, and lived context

  • Review of available medical records and prior lab data

  • A 60-minute deep-dive consultation focused on identifying patterns across systems

Functional analysis across:

• hormones
• gut health
• metabolic and thyroid function
• inflammation
• stress and nervous system regulation

  • Identification of primary drivers vs secondary contributors

  • A 45-minute follow-up visit to review findings and priorities

A personalized roadmap outlining:

• key focus areas
• optional testing considerations
• phased next steps

Root Cause Review is designed to create understanding and direction.

It does not include:

  • Ongoing care or monitoring

  • Implementation of treatment protocols

  • Prescriptions or supplement management

Optional Functional Testing

When clinically helpful, advanced functional testing may be discussed as part of your roadmap.

  • Testing is optional, never required

  • Tests are selected intentionally based on your presentation

  • Each advanced functional test is a $500 add-on, billed separately

  • Testing decisions are collaborative and guided by clinical relevance

The goal of testing is clarity — not over-testing.

Root Cause Review may be a good fit if:

  • You want a coherent explanation of ongoing or recurring symptoms

  • You've tried multiple approaches without clear answers

  • You want a plan before committing to a longer program

  • You value thoughtful analysis over quick fixes

It may not be the best fit if:

  • You are looking for hands-on support over time

  • You already know you want structured, ongoing care

  • You need active symptom management right away

After completing a Root Cause Review, next steps may include:

  • Continuing with primary care support

  • Starting a structured functional program (Reset & Rebalance or Restore & Regulate)

  • Pursuing selective advanced testing (optional)

  • Choosing to pause and reflect

There is no obligation to enroll in a program. The goal is clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making.
